[ wow.. it's him!! Kabru will be able to see that his room is organized and spotless behind him. Laios actually does smile at him. ]
[ There's a quick glance behind Laios, and Kabru can see how neat and tidy he appears to be. It's not surprising given how clean shaven and neat he keeps his appearance. Kabru is curious about that one photo LILITH had found where Laios looked more unkempt, though. Maybe he had a difficult phase in life.
The next thing Kabru notices is the fact that Laios very clearly forgot about their plan to go bug hunting ... ]
I'm ... alright. [ He didn't need to come here!!! But he's already mentally prepared, so he's committed. ] I was under the impression we made a plan to go find those wasps.
[ Since the quarters here are so small, there's really not much of Laios disappearing from sight, but he does have his back towards Kabru and seems to be picking through drawers and shelves, putting various items into bag. Everything seems to pristine and organized, he doesn't have any trouble finding things he is looking for. ]
Sure, but these things might be hard to find. I want to make sure we have plenty of time!
[ Once he has all of the things he needs, he bends over to work on putting on.. tennis shoes? That's what these things are? They're functional and lightweight in comparison to his heavy boots. He straightens up his posture once he's ready and turns to look at Kabru. ]
Alright. Ready? I promise I won't freak out again. I've kind of gotten used to things around here now. ... Sort of.
[ Everything looks so organised. It's a far cry from Kabru's own living situation. What he normally does is leave the clothes in a pile somewhere and change into them. He only really needs his sword and some money when he goes out, and it's easy to grab that when he leaves. All other supplies, he would buy at the general store before leaving for the dungeon. An experienced dungeon crawler would probably need to be organised just like this? ]
It was a lot to take in the last time. Don't worry about it.

I am bringing something called sunscreen, which I discovered when we were on the beach, and insect repellent, because even if we want to attract a certain kind of insect, we want the others to stay off of our bodies. I brought some water with me, and a book with blank paper in case I want to draw something.
The ensign wasp is attracted to flowers and honeydew, so we need to make a pit stop before going to look.
[ He really is well-prepared. Kabru will just follow his lead. He didn't have too many problems with the sun at the beach (thank u melanin) but he wonders if Laios would share the insect repellent... ]

No, it isn’t. We don’t have to prepare for many different things, or monsters. Instead, we can just focus on finding the wasp. The items that I’ve packed are very much different than the ones I pack for dungeon crawling. I doubt we will come across a dragon on the way.

Which is a shame, really. For a place that is supposed to be under attack by monsters, it seems pretty barren in my opinion.
